Hi, I’m Noah Wells.
I became a dad later in life—and like many things that come later, this experience has been deeper, messier, and more meaningful than I ever expected.
I started this blog to share my journey. Not because I have it all figured out-but because I believe in the value of sharing my truth while it’s still unfolding. I also hope that by memorializing this experience, my memory will hold on to it a little bit better and there will be some of me to share with my son when I’m no longer around.
This space is for the stories I want to remember: the ones I’ll tell my son someday, and the ones I needed to hear in the moment.
If they help someone else feel seen, even better.
Why “Wise Dad, Wild Toddler”?
Because that’s the dance we’re in.
He’s discovering the world for the first time, and I’m rediscovering it right alongside him—with a little more gray hair and a lot more humility.
Some days I feel grounded. Other days I’m just trying to stay upright. But always, I’m showing up—with presence, not perfection.
